Rare earth minerals illegally stripped in Lai Chau
People in Ban Hon Commune, Tam Duong District, in the northern province of Lai Chau have been rushing to dig up rare earth minerals to sell. The Dong Pao Rare Earth Mine, the largest in Vietnam, covers a total area of 11 square kilometres and has estimated reserves of 5 million tonnes. The mine is jointly operated by Lai Chau-VIMICO Rare Earth Joint Stock Co. and the Japanese Dong Pao Rare Earth Development Company. While the two firms have been preparing begin operations, with the target of exploiting around 10,000 tonnes per year, locals have flocked to strip the minerals from the mine themselves, for sale to traders at only VND5,000 per kilogramme (USD0.23). The minerals are then transported to China. The mine is just seven kilometres from the commune's People's Committee. Every day hundreds of people flock to the mine on motorbikes, sometimes as many as 100. With 200kg of the ore, one can earn VND1 million (USD47.6 ), a sum that is attractive enough for many people to disregard the law. The local authorities have set up guard station, but it has proven insufficient to deal with the problem. Travel to Vietnam

RunCore unveils new SSD series with 32 MB cache
The Chinese company RunCore, known for its storage devices and mostly SSDs, has announced a new SSD series that will carry the Pro VI moniker. The 2.5-inch RunCore Pro VI SSD series comes in a very thin chassis – just 7 mm – and has been primarily designed for use in ultrabooks. Despite the small measures the SSDs boast high read and write speeds that reach 550 MB/sec and 380 MB/sec respectively. As to the IOPS (Input Output Operations per Second) the Pro VI series reaches 80 000 IOPS while reading and 60 000 IOPS while writing. RunCore SSD The drives also fully support SATA 3.0, the so-called Wear Leveling technology that increases storage safety and prolongs drive life and 32 MB of cache. ECC is also present. Capacity-wise the new RunCore Pro VI series will range from 32 GB to 512 GB. Pricing and availability are unknown. yen sao hitech review hue tourism vietnam weight loss cute girl dac san hue how to solve rubik how to tie a tie how to be pregnant how to cv what is fashion trends visit vietnam ky nang ban hang kinh doanh quoc te ngu phap tieng anh de thi dai hoc luan van ngan hang luan van thac sy bao cao thuc tap Quan tri kinh doanh Anh van giao tiep Bao cao thuc tap ke toan Bao cao thuc tap khach san Luan van bao chi Luan van van hoc Luan van sinh hoc Luan van hoa hoc Bao cao thuc tap xay dung Bao cao thuc tap co khi Bao cao thuc tap cong nghe thong tin Bao cao thuc tap nhan su Bao cao thuc tap quan tri kinh doanh De an giao duc

G.Skill demos 96 GB memory kit
Yeah, you read it right – G.Skill demonstrated a 96 GB memory kit at the ongoing Computex 2012 trade show. The huge amount of RAM memory was installed on an EVGA SR-X LGA2011 motherboard powered by two Intel LGA2011 processors and featuring twelve memory slots. The installed G.Skill Ripjaws memory modules (12 x 8 GB each) operated at 1600 MHz at 11-11-11-29 timings. G.Skill Logo The company also took the chance to show off 16 GB of DDR3 memory (4 modules x 4 GB each) running at 3000 MHz installed in an ASUS Z77 Maximus V motherboard and in a Gigabyte Z77A-UD5 mobo. The TridentX memory ran at 11-14-14-35 timings, which apart from the very high clock speed, make it extremely fast. It seems G.Skill enjoys memory shows – last year the company demonstrated a PC with 48 GB of RAM running at 2000 MHz on a LGA1366 platform. yen sao hitech review hue tourism vietnam weight loss cute girl dac san hue how to solve rubik how to tie a tie how to be pregnant how to cv what is fashion trends visit vietnam ky nang ban hang kinh doanh quoc te ngu phap tieng anh de thi dai hoc luan van ngan hang luan van thac sy bao cao thuc tap Quan tri kinh doanh Anh van giao tiep Bao cao thuc tap ke toan Bao cao thuc tap khach san Luan van bao chi Luan van van hoc Luan van sinh hoc Luan van hoa hoc Bao cao thuc tap xay dung Bao cao thuc tap co khi Bao cao thuc tap cong nghe thong tin Bao cao thuc tap nhan su Bao cao thuc tap quan tri kinh doanh De an giao duc

ASUS Mars III packs very powerful graphics hardware
Prepare to meet another 3D graphics monster – the ASUS Mars III video card that not only features two extremely powerful GK104 cores but also packs whopping 8 GB of GDDR5 video memory! The Mars III monster was showcased at Computex 2012 in Taiwan. Unlike most other video cards the Mars III is cooled by three different fans and there are three power connectors used to feed the card with electricity apart from the PCI-E slot it is installed in. Next to them you will also see a button that when pressed makes the fans spin at their highest speed. There's also a SLI bridge and in the back you will see three DVI ports and one mini-DisplayPort port. ASUS Mars III No other specs are known including GPU and memory clock speeds. Pricing is also unknown – but the card will be released in limited quantities, which apart from the very expensive and fast hardware will surely make it extremely expensive. yen sao hitech review hue tourism vietnam weight loss cute girl dac san hue how to solve rubik how to tie a tie how to be pregnant how to cv what is fashion trends visit vietnam ky nang ban hang kinh doanh quoc te ngu phap tieng anh de thi dai hoc luan van ngan hang luan van thac sy bao cao thuc tap Quan tri kinh doanh Anh van giao tiep Bao cao thuc tap ke toan Bao cao thuc tap khach san Luan van bao chi Luan van van hoc Luan van sinh hoc Luan van hoa hoc Bao cao thuc tap xay dung Bao cao thuc tap co khi Bao cao thuc tap cong nghe thong tin Bao cao thuc tap nhan su Bao cao thuc tap quan tri kinh doanh De an giao duc

Milk falsely labeled \'Ensure\' discovered in Quang Ngai
Police in central Quang Ngai Province discovered and seized 782 Ensure cans and 105 bottles of milk bearing fake labels at a company named Thien An, in Quang Ngai City. According to the police, they first found that 479 Ensure milk cans (237 ml) with blue labels there did not have proper and legal documents when being brought to the market. Thien An claimed to have bought the products from Queen Communication Joint Stock Company, located at No. 128 Vo Thi Sau Street. When police inspected Queen Company they discovered 303 Ensure milk cans (237 ml) without labels, 105 Ensure milk bottles with blue labels, and a lot of blue Ensure labels. Le Thi My Thuy, 26, Deputy Director of Queen Company, admitted that they had fraudulently replaced the labels to get better prices. "A can with a blue label is VND 500 more expensive than one with a yellow label," she said. This is the second time the company has been found replacing labels on Ensure milk products. In January, Queen Company was found to be turning yellow labels into blue on 50 Ensure milk cartons (each carton contains 24 cans). This time, the company had printed 40,000 blue labels which could be used for 55 cartons. At present, a blue can costs VND 32,500 (USD1.54) and a yellow can is VND 32,000 (USD1.52). According to Vo Thanh Tam, Deputy Chief of the Market Management Department No.1, they are co-operating with other agencies to check the quality of milk. On May 22, Police in Hue City also seized more than 10,000 Ensure milk cans (237 ml) bearing false labels at three houses in the city. Vietnam not to apply sharp petrol price cuts
Despite the recent fall in the import price of petroleum products, price cuts will not be as sharp as price hikes, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Petrol price cuts could not be as sharp as price hikes Instead of cutting price, the government will raise import taxes to contribute more to the petroleum price stabilisation fund in the near future, the ministry noted. Speaking at the ministry's regular meeting for May, Deputy Director of the Department of Domestic Market, Nguyen Xuan Chien, said that petroleum price would be continuously regulated in accordance with Government Decree 84 in the time to come. While admitting that the import prices of petroleum products had fallen in recent days, Chien claimed that it would be impossible to apply price cuts as sharply as price hikes. He also said that the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance will continue to work together to regulate petrol prices upon the government's request. Concerning the level of possible price cuts, the Ministry of Finance will make a decision based on the world market. "Petrol price adjustments must ensure benefits to the government, traders and consumers," he added. Petroleum prices on the world market have been sharply falling in recent days. On June 4, crude oil prices in the US market decreased by 2.4% to USD81.21 per barrel, the lowest rate since October 6, 2011. At the same time, Brent crude oil prices for July deliveries tumbled to the lowest rate since January 26, 2011, at USD95.63 per barrel. In the Singaporean market, which supplies over 40% of petroleum for Vietnamese importers, the FOB price for 92 octane petrol fell to USD105.5 per barrel on June 3, the lowest rate since February 8, 2011. On May 23, the Ministry of Finance decided to lower domestic retail prices of petroleum by between VND300 and VND600 per litre. It also increased petroleum import taxes by 2% to 4% for petrol, by 1% to 3% for diesel, by 2% to 5% for kerosene and fuel oil. However, market watchdogs said that domestic petrol prices may be further reduced in the near future as import prices over the past month have been VND900 per litre lower than the current retail prices.
